Central bank says trend inflation slows down to 9.48% in June
MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russia’s trend inflation calculated for a 5-year interval decelerated to 9.48% in June from 10.18% in May, the central bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
The estimate for a 3-year interval amounted to 10.57% in June, down from 11.39% in May.
The balance of risks is still skewed to the side of pro-inflationary risks, but the central bank’s monetary policy should return inflation to the 4% target in 2024, the regulator said.
